The Story Behind The Brand

Here I Am.
Send Me.

Isaiah 6:8

"My doctors told me I would never walk again. They told me to prepare for a new life — because the one I knew was over."

My name is Luis Mustelier. I was born in Guatemala, adopted, and raised in Atlanta. And I am alive today because of a miracle — more than one, actually.

I was shot multiple times and left paralyzed in my entire right leg. The surgeons said they would need to amputate above the knee. Miraculously — and I use that word with full weight — they didn't. Then they told me I would never walk again. When I felt the first movement in my toes, something shifted inside me that no diagnosis could touch. That small, quiet motion was my answer to everything they said I would never do again.

"I used to ask God — why me? Then He spoke to me and gave me a word: Why not you? You were created righteous and perfected through Me. This was a preparation for something far greater than myself."

I died on the operating table the night they brought me in. I am alive because Jesus intervened. That is not poetic language — that is my testimony. It was a miracle I survived. A miracle they saved my leg. A miracle I wiggled my toes. A miracle I walked. A miracle I lifted a weight again.

And just recently — for the first time in years — I ran.

I had to learn how to walk again from the beginning. The nerve damage left behind a pain that has no real name — it lived in my leg day and night, a constant, unwelcome reminder that the body remembers everything it has been through. The partial paralysis and nerve pain remain with me still, not as defeat, but as testimony. Proof of what God can restore, and what He chooses to keep as a mark of where I have been. The Lord saved me from prison. From myself. From the horrors of the world. He gave me second and third chances I didn't deserve. He brought me out of the bondage of the world and broke the oppression of the enemy over my life.

The Verse That Changed Everything

"Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here I am. Send me."

Isaiah 6:8

I first heard that verse in the movie Fury. But it wasn't until I was lying in that hospital bed — told that everything I had known about my life was finished — that the verse took root in a way I cannot fully articulate. Something in me stopped fighting the question of why and began to rest in the answer of who. He sent me because He knew I could carry it. Because He had already decided that what I walked through would not be wasted — that it would be redeemed, repurposed, and used for something that reached far beyond me.

Isaiah 6:8 is servitude. It is surrender. It is the moment you stop negotiating with God about the difficulty of your path and you say — use me. Whatever You will have of me, I am ready. I am a soldier, a messenger, a vessel of His kingdom. Send me.

I realized my experiences weren't about me. They happened so I could connect with others who are walking through impossible things. To tell them: I have been there. God is real. He heals. He restores. He sends. And if He sent me through that — He can bring you through yours.

Why LiftByFaith Exists

More Than Apparel.
A Movement.

LiftByFaith is not just a fitness brand. It was never just about the gym. The name means what it says: lifting yourself and those around you — by faith, through faith, in faith. Christ lifted us from death, from bondage, from the enemy. Through the blood of the lamb, we can lift ourselves up and lift others around us.

Fitness is not separate from faith. Discipline is not separate from devotion. The body you train is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Every rep is an act of stewardship. Every early morning you show up is a declaration that you take your calling seriously. The community you build in the gym is iron sharpening iron — the same community you build in the Kingdom.

This brand is for anyone with a testimony in Jesus Christ. For anyone desiring to be part of a community that strives for surrender, faith, devotion, and the spread of the Gospel. For those growing closer to Christ, committed to something bigger than themselves. We are united in Him.

When You Wear LiftByFaith

We want you to feel empowered. Connected to Christ and your faith. To feel like what you truly are — a son, a soldier, and a vessel of the Most High. Not perfect. Just chosen. Not without struggle. Just refusing to be defeated.

What Faith Means To Us

Faith is the confidence of something you cannot see. Faith is surrender. Faith is trusting the Lord above all else. Faith is living and abiding in God and His Word — exactly as described in Hebrews 11. It is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen. I have lived that definition. Not in a sermon — in a hospital bed, learning to move my toes.

Christ is my foundation.
He is yours too.

I am not perfect. I am just a man who lost the ability to walk and learned how to take a step again. This time with a purpose. This brand is that purpose — lived out, worn publicly, shared freely.

"Here I am. Send me."
